Renovated small guesthouse, very pleasant. Close to the Dover ferry terminal.

Not sure how this property got 4 on reviews. Check in is 4:30 and out at 9:30. Ridiculous times compared to other places. 3 long flights of narrow dark stairs . Could barely turn around in the shower. Bathroom had closet doors. Noisy and on a busy street. Old furniture and stiff linens. 12” tv smaller than a computer screen. It is within walking distance of town. Owner made a fuss when we asked about breakfast. So we went to the cafe down the street. I would not recommend

We cannot change the layout of the room. You booked the stay without breakfast. I did offer you breakfast where you could pay in cash but you declined. We thank you for your feedback. Take care.

Maison Dieu Guest House – Viersterne Unterkunft. Nettes Personal, kostenloser Parkplatz. Das Zimmer war sauber, bisschen alt eingerichtet (WLAN, Fernseher, Tee, Café, Schnellwasserkocher, Handtücher, Duschgel, Schampon…). Leider ohne Aufzug, aber Personal hilft Gep?ck zu tragen. Ca. 5 Wandern Minuten vom Zentrum. Lohnt sich hier zu parken, um die Parkgebühren zu sparen und in die Stadtzentrum zu Fu? gehen.

Great guesthouse to stay, Hayley and Deborah were absolutely lovely and super accommodating when we asked to drop off our luggage before check in time. The room was comfy and really lovely, with an ensuite which is what we were looking for. The house is really well maintained and looked after, great location and lovely staff. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and amazing portions too. Would have been nice to know in advance that there were going to be so many stairs to go up/down (we were in the top level - 2nd), but we managed without any issues at all. Can’t beat their prices, book directly with them to get the best rates. Don’t hesitate and book this B&B for your stay!

We used to stay at Mason Dieu quite often when visiting family in Dover pre-lockdown, but this was our first visit in three years. We knew that it had changed owners. Sandra gave us a warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble and our room had everything we needed. Breakfast was superb - couldn’t fault it. We’ll definitely be back!
